  2. The snow on the mountain I can see from my window makes me feel cold. I have a knee rug!!

  3. A cloudy cool and rainy 75 degrees…..lovin it!

  4. We have had over 21 days at 100 or higher so far this summer. The highest being 110. It looks like there is no end in sight and the drought we are having is being compared to the great dust bowl.

  5. Sorry- I am in Oklahoma. I guess I should have included that.

  6. Today is ONLY supposed to get to 98 here in San Antonio, Texas but we also have not had any really measurable rain since January of this year and not much chance of any in sight. We are just a couple of feet away from Stage 3 water restrictions, all the grass around town is brown and dry. Can’t tell you how many plants I have lost this year to extreme heat conditions!!!

  7. Its cold wet and windy here in Ireland with temps of 14C yeah Im afraid we call it summer on a day when it does not rain. Thats why I need shiny gemstones to bring a little sunshine into my day. :-)

  8. here in Minneapolis, MN it’s been in the 90’s for a week now, but the real story is the dewpoints…50 degree is a comfortable dewpoint, it’s been in the 70’s which is tropical for a week. tomorrow it’s supposed to hit 100, but less humid, not sure what that means, anything would be better than a 78 dewpoint. one word blechhhhhh!!! but i think some jewelry would make it much easier to bear ;-)

  9. So far I got you all beat! 112 here in Phoenix yesterday where I live and about the same today – plus another huge dust storm last night which they call a “haboob”! It is monsoon season which makes it more humid (37 – 40%) than the very “dry heat” we usually get (7 to 20%).

I need some pretty gems to keep me cooled down!

    :)

  10. Wow! We are sweltering in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada….it’s tooo hot too move! Right now it’s 95 degrees & it supposed to get up to almost 104!!!

  11. I am only able to shop on the internet today. It is so hot here the tires on my car are melted and are stuck to the driveway.

  12. 82 degrees in Augusta, GA, my pool is now on simmer waiting for the boiling point again this afternoon.

  13. Hello from Albuquerque, NM. I am only able to shop on the internet today. It is so hot here that the tires on my car have melted and are stuck to the driveway.

  15. Here in Lubbock, Texas, we were 101 degrees yesterday, and expecting 101 today, with 101 tomorrow and Thursday. Whew!! :)

    >Shelly K. :)

  16. Expected to be 103 today and 106 for the next 3 days then back down to a cool 103 and 102 on the weekend…how’s that for HOT! This is crazy!

  17. Tulsa, OK…where the wind comes sweeping down the plain…and feels like a blow dryer!!! :)

  18. I live in South Georgia.
Todays High is only going to be around 95.
Which is kind of amazing considering it’s been pretty much
in the mid 90’s the entire month of May and low 100’s for most part
of June. June 1st it was 102 degrees for instance.
With our humidity it always feels at least 10 degrees more
    than what the thermometer shows.
Last Friday-Sunday it was in the 80’s. We had rainy, cooler
“spring” weather in the middle of July “summer” :-) LOL
We certainly had no spring temperatures or rain. And now
it’s making up for it in the middle of summer. Which is fine
with me. I am not complaining. I just think it’s totally hillarious :-) Love Trader Lou Jewelry…..sun rain hot or cold !!!!

  19. Gainesville, FL, 94 degrees and so humid that when I went out the front door, I got knocked out. When I woke up 30 minutes later I had 2 black eyes! They don’t call this “The Swamp” for nothin ;)

It’s UBER HOT in Lubbock, Texas!! Today we will tie our all-time record of triple-digit temps for the year (29 days). Our high today is going to be 101 degrees. 30. It’s now 20C (about 50)–last week, it hardly got above 10 C (40 in your temperature.) It did reach 28C on Sunday (about 76). Worst summer I can ever remember; has rained almost continuously since March, Normally, it should be in the high 80’s or low 90’s at this time of year in Nova Scotia, Canada. Even the trees are confused and starting to change colours already! Envy you with sunny, warm days.

  31. We live in Seattle–a familiar question is: “What do you do there in the summertime?” The answer is: “If it falls on a Sunday, we go on a picnic.” We are still wearing our fur pajamas, or would be if we had any.

  32. Guess I’m lucky today. It’s 83 and humid here in New York State. Since I have breathing problems, I’m staying indoors in front of the fan all day.

  33. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA. I just came in from the car which said 35°C (95°F), but with the humidity factored in it feels like 47-48°C (117-118°F). Ooooppps! The sweat from my forehead just shortttdd mm7 KeYbbbbbbbbbbbbo((777rrrd

  45. Dear Trader Lou…
This is the weather prediction for tomorrow taken strait from the NOAA…. SWELTERING!!!!!!!

New Paltz, NY. Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 97. Heat index values as high as 107. Southwest wind between 7 and 16 mph.

So maybe the actual temperature isnt that high… but 107 for a heat index?!?!?! I am afraid I might melt!!! Today is practice, the temp is supposed to be 95, and they arent saying anything about the heat index. HOT HOT HOT!!!! I will be sitting outside tanning, I love the way my big chunky larimar ring, and my oval moonstone ring leave tan lines on my fingers… then I know that laying in the boiling sun is all worth it :) LOVE TRADER LOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  46. Roanoke, VA
    currently, 89 F
Mostly sunny. Isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Hot with highs in the lower 90s. Light and variable winds. Chance of rain 20 percent.
…not to bad, but a good day to stay indoors to make jewelry!

  47. In in Northern Virginia, near Washington DC, and it’s been hot for a while. Today it is 100 degrees. There’s a hazy look to everything and I can’t even see the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the distance- they are obscured by the ozone/fine particulate haze. Today there’s an “Excessive Heat Warning” with heat index of 115 degrees! I got out of my car this morning (I had the AC on) and my glasses fogged up due to the temperature change. That usually only happens in winter when I come inside! :) Stay safe everyone- drink lots of water and put on sunscreen.

  48. Here in EDMONTON ALBERTA CANADA it is 15 celcius, Went down to 9C this week as we have been getting alot of rain and thunderstorms. Even though its chilly I would take this over the scorching heat any day :)
