Cold...???

You don't know anything about cold!!

It's up to the 20's here in MN again, which is such a relief from the -20's!!!! You think thats bad, look how much snow we get sometimes!!

<a href="http://www.crh.noaa.gov/mpx/?n=december24-27,2009" rel="nofollow">Dec. 24-27, 2009</a>

See, we have this thing called "wind chill"...where it feels colder than the actual temperature because of the speed of the wind... so even if its above zero, the wind may make it feel like its 30 below! As in...you're lucky if your car starts in the first place...but if it does, you better start it at least a half an hour before you want to go anywhere!

Today was the warmest day in almost 2 weeks; the sun was out & it hit a high of 31 degrees. I'm in NJ across from Manhattan so we always have the same temp as New York City. I think it's been just absolutely freezing and today on the news, it said it's actually been 3.6 degrees warmer on average (this record includes December till yesterday). Right now it's about 28 deg. & they're calling for a low of 21 deg. with flurries and same for tomorrow. Flurries; a high of 30 deg & a low of 21 deg. I know the South has been suffering - my granddaughter went to Florida last week to lay on the beach & get some sun while visiting her dad but she's been wearing 2 sweaters & a jacket even during the day! She's so disappointed. The worst thing is the damage to the fruit because our prices will go up dramatically.

Hope you post the results of temperatures from around the US.
