i learned from my jeweler that any ring no matter whats its made of will wear away at the center of band from constant rubbing or friction on finger and removing often, they make ring gards to proecet the errosion of the metal and can be made of silver ,gold or ant other metal you are not allergic to. they can be a bit pricey bout $20 but if you just wrap cloth tape as was mentioned earlier tat also takes care of problem unless i makes ring to small but the tape sqishes down alot tis is also a good way to make rings that spin or are too big work

I have found that only the cheap jewelry turns my skin green, but that’s all I can afford these days. So anyway I figured out a way of lining the inside of a ring or bracelet so turning the skin colors does not happen. I just line the inside of a ring or bracelet with cloth medical tape and trim to size. It stays perfectly thru washing hands, cooking, and playing in the dirt even.
